Saurik's gettext doesn't lack headers.
There's a "Filesystem Content" section for all installed packages, and gettext shows libintl.h in /usr/include.
If that's not the case for you, try reinstalling the package.
Otherwise, try setting
Code: Select all
CFLAGS="-I$(readlink /usr/include)"
for configure (or just add the flag in any way).

Now I'm getting this error :/

Code: Select all
    CC credential-store.o
In file included from credential-store.c:1:
In file included from ./cache.h:4:
./git-compat-util.h:280:10: error: 'openssl/ssl.h' file not found with <angled> include; use "quotes" instead
#include <openssl/ssl.h>
         ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         "openssl/ssl.h"
In file included from credential-store.c:1:
In file included from ./cache.h:4:
In file included from ./git-compat-util.h:280:
./openssl/ssl.h:173:10: fatal error: 'openssl/e_os2.h' file not found
#include <openssl/e_os2.h>
         ^
2 errors generated.
make: *** [credential-store.o] Error 1

Note that the headers are all there, including ssl.h and e_os2.h.

Could you run
Code: Select all
grep -A42 'failed program was' config.log
in the build root and post the output here?

Hi all!

Since this is my first time here, I should probably introduce myself. I'm CoolStar, the developer who has ported the iOS toolchain (LLVM + Clang, LD64 and CC Tools) to run on iOS devices themselves as well as on Windows via Cygwin.

The current tools bundled with iOS Toolchain are up-to-date and support ARM64 and the iOS 9.x sdks. I've used them myself to compile several utilities on-device (such as Perl, OpenSSL, PHP5, GNU bash, and other GNU core utilities).

Something I noticed frequently here, for specifying an sdk, use the -isysroot argument of clang; don't specify the include and lib dirs to inside the SDK manually).

Anyways, I'm glad to be here and hope for some great discussions on these tools :)

ranlib is at /usr/bin/ranlib.

How are you configuring/making git?
